The DwgChat function of CAD Viewer allows multiple people to communicate and discuss the same drawing, with one person operating the drawing viewport or annotating, and the other members synchronously and automatically operating. Participants are divided into Operators and Members, with only one operator at a time. Only the operator's actions can be synchronized to other members.
There are three types of users in DwgChat: Operator, ShareView Member, and MyView Member.
Operator:There can only be one operator in a project or a private chat at the same time. Operator can operate any drawings and all operations will be synchronized in the interface of ShareView members.
ShareView member:
ShareView member can't do anything with the drawing, they can only wait for the Operator's actions and synchronize the display of their operations. ShareView members can become Operators by switching identities.
MyView Member:
MyView Members are not affected by the actions of the operator, and do not display the actions of the operator synchronously. They can view images freely. To become an operator, they need to switch to ShareView member firstly.
You can only have one DwgChat in one project or Private chat, and only project members can join the DwgChat of the project.
DwgChat can only be used in View Mode and can only edit annotations.
